Beginner 1 & 2 - Wednesday, 6:30pm - 7:30pm
This class is ideal for new dancers or returning dancers who want to develop a stronger technical foundation of Bellydance movement. Class focus will tend to core movements of Bellydance, with Tribal styling. Dancers will increase stamina, grace, ability to isolate different movements, shimmies, and get in touch with innate dance-ability.
Class environment is focused, upbeat, supportive, non-competitive, nurturing, semi-technical, loosely spiritual, and welcoming to ALL. Brand new dancers will be given simplified variations of movements from advance beginners.
Intermediate 1, 2 &3 - Monday 6:30pm - 7:30pm,
Wednesday, 7:30pm - 8:30pm

This class will focus on mastering 3/4 and 4/4 shimmy, isolation movements. Dancers will be challenged to increase stamina and strength as they drill movements and learn combinations that incorporate quick changes. More advanced dancers will be asked to focus upon layering movements, drilling those layers to varying tempos. Less advanced dancers will be asked to maintain focus on singular movements. Participants will focus on dance technique (including turns, arm-carriage, and footwork) and will also be challenged to access their own artistic movement ideas.
Bellydance Workout - Saturday, 9:30am - 10:45am
Start your Saturday with a high energy dance workout. This class offers a non-stop flow of essential Bellydance moves, using simple repeating combination drills to sculpt movement deep into dance muscles, with focus on abdominals, gluts and thighs. Class will conclude with strengthening and stretching exercises. Prepare to sweat!
